The Mainstays 12" Cast Iron Skillet is a staple in every kitchen! Fry potatoes to golden brown, put a perfect sear on steak, and bake cornbread with crispy crust. Enjoy even heating followed by an easy clean-up. The 12" size is large enough to cook for your entire family. Cast iron is a great option whether you enjoy cooking at home in the kitchen, or outdoors while camping. This skillet features an easy pour lip on the side and a helper handle making it easy to lift. The handle includes a hang-hole for storing your clean skillet in the open, should you so desire. This cast iron skillet is made from heirloom quality cast iron. With the proper care and maintenance, it will be usable for many years. See use and care instructions below.
- Your cast iron cookware can be used on induction, ceramic, electric and gas cooktops, in your oven, on the grill, or even over the campfire. Do not use in the microwave
- Note: On glass or ceramic cooktops, lift cookware; never slide it
- Note: Use metal, wood, or hi-temp silicone utensils
- Note: Some foods may stick to new cookware (especially eggs). Use a little extra oil or butter until you've built up the seasoning on your cast iron cookware
- Note: Acidic foods like tomatoes, beans, and certain sauces can damage seasoning finish and should be avoided until the seasoning is well-established
- Note: Cast Iron rarely needs to go above a medium heat setting when properly pre-heated. For the times when you do cook at higher temperatures, bring the pan to temperature gradually and add oil to it just before adding food to prevent sticking
- Note: Cookware handles get hot; use mitts. Use trivets to protect countertops from hot cookware
- After first use let it cool and wipe it down with a clean dry cloth or paper towel. If you prefer to use soap, then wash with mild soapy water and dry thoroughly and oil (season) immediately
- Note: Dishwashers, strong detergents and metal scouring pads are not recommended, as they remove seasoning

PRE-ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT ON HAND AND THEREFORE, HAVE TO WAIT AROUND 6 TO 8 WEEKS TO RECEIVE THE ITEMS.
BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE READ THE RULES & REGULATIONS BELOW:
1. Pre orders require payment to be made at checkout.
2. Please note that due to the nature of pre-order items, we will not be accepting cancellations. Cancellation of orders is not allowed once the “Order Form” has been submitted and paid nor could it be exchanged for other items. All pre-orders made are considered as sold.
3. We cannot estimate or guarantee a specific ship date so we cannot guarantee products will be available in 6 weeks. We will ship orders the moment they are available.
4.Sometimes the ordered items will arrive later than 8 weeks due to several factors (eg: customs)
5. Please do not order if you are unable to wait.
6. If you combine in-stock and pre-ordered items, ALL items will be shipped at once when all pre-ordered items are available.
7. Once you place an order with us, it means that you are willing to accept these terms & conditions
8. Pre-orders are non-transferable. All orders made shall ship directly to the person and address specified in the order form. We will not entertain such requests to protect the privacy and security of our customers.
9. Once the products have landed and received by our team. You will then be informed via email and our social media platforms. We will immediately have all your orders packed in the next 24 Hours and schedule it for shipment. In the case of lost items during shipment we shall refund in full the amount that you have paid and shall offer a discount on your next possible purchase from us.
