Does it work well with 8,5 x 11 inches papers?

Yes, the bindding machine is suitable for Letter Size (19 holes), A4 Size (21 holes), and A5 Size (15 holes).
Can you use any other binding material besides pvc or laminated cardstock?

1、5-12 mil PVC cover can be punched, please punch single sheets per time, no multiple sheets;

2、1 sheets of 230g(≤85lb) cover/textured paper can be punched one time.

Notes: Punching smaller sheets at a time can prolong the life of blades.
Can you use a spiral coils or metal wire combs with it?

NO, this binding machine is for plastic combs only. You can buy spiral or wire binding machine.
